The Ascension of Intimacy School of Tantra
A living School of Tantra, Intimacy & Human Evolution
Why the School exists
We are taught to succeed, and almost never taught to love well
People spend decades learning how to build a career, and almost no time learning how to cultivate conscious relationship, polarity and sacred partnership. The result is a particular modern ache: capable, accomplished people who find intimacy the least navigable part of their lives.
The School exists in that gap. It treats intimacy as an intelligence, something that can be studied, practised and developed, rather than a matter of luck or chemistry.
The longing for depth, clarity and erotic power is not a personal failing. It is a collective calling, and it is worth answering with real training.
The method
Ancient lineage, modern rigour
The teachings draw on ancient Tantric wisdom while integrating insight from modern psychology, somatic therapy and trauma-informed methodology. Neither half is decorative. The lineage supplies the depth; the modern work supplies the safety and the precision.
The principles taught are universal, which makes the path accessible from any spiritual, cultural or religious background. Much as yoga can be practised inside many traditions, these are offered as tools for self-awareness, healing and conscious living rather than as a belief system to adopt.
The work is experiential before it is educational. Tantra is learned in the body. Reading about it produces understanding; practising it produces change.
How we hold this work
Safety, consent and honesty
This is intimate territory, and anyone evaluating it is asking about safety whether or not they say so out loud. So it is worth stating plainly.
- Trauma-informed throughout
Sexual, relational and emotional wounds are met rather than bypassed, using approaches aligned with modern somatic therapy, not pushed through in the name of breakthrough.
- Consent is structural
Practices are offered, never imposed. Choosing not to participate in something is a full and respected answer.
- Ethics are taught explicitly
The professional track covers boundaries and the shadow side of the modern coaching industry directly, because practitioners who leave here will hold other people's vulnerability.
- We are not therapy
This is education and practice in embodied intimacy. It sits alongside therapeutic or medical care and does not replace it.

Who leads it
Lana Elco
The School was founded by Lana Elco, who has spent more than two decades studying intimacy and consciousness through Tantra, psychology, neuroscience and somatic practice. She works with people who are not only healing their relationships but changing how they lead and relate.
Her clients describe her presence as oracular, catalytic and fiercely loving. Her own practice (private mentorship, retreats and speaking) lives separately from the School.
